Nova Victoria, comprises high quality, energy efficient office accommodation, retail and restaurant space and modern luxury apartments. All of it housed within three landmark buildings at the heart of the new, pedestrianised, landscaped public quarter.
Project Management – The Lift Consultancy were appointed as Lift Package Manager for Mace Group, responsible for delivering 45 lifts to the end client Land Securities.
As Lift Package Manager, we managed Kone and other key interface trades to ensure delivery and installation to specification, programme and costs. Key issues on the project revolved around the interfaces with other trade works, especially entrances, lobby walls and architraves and BMS systems. Regular fortnightly meetings were held with Kone to review progress and to discuss and agree forward planning of works. We conducted regular site walk-arounds / inspections to monitor Kone progress and to discuss and agree solutions to on-site problems.
- This project consisted of three buildings, containing a total of forty-five lifts, split 26 passenger lifts; 7 firefighting lifts, 11 goods passenger lifts and 1 platform lift
- The South and North buildings were commercial offices, with Nova building being Residential. Retail units are located on the ground and basement levels under each of the three buildings.
