The Lift Consultancy has been commissioned by Waterman Building Services Ltd on behalf of their client to carry out a condition survey on the vertical transportation system at 90 York Way London N1 9AG.
Services
This service is paying particular attention to life expectancy of the installation and suitability of the installation to provide an adequate service for the existing and future use of the building. The reports also comments on compliance with current legislation, standards and codes of practice for safe working on lifts and provides budget costs for works that may be necessary.
Challenges
The office and function areas run independently with differing requirements for access. Good planning was essential in order to reduce disruption to a minimum and to arrange the work to fit the schedules both areas of the building.
